Each class has a page for every school day: today's target, the plan, your PLTW work, and what to do if you were absent.
Watch the quick guide, then follow these steps. Every lesson works the same way. Once you've got the rhythm, you always know what to do and where to look.
Open today's lesson. Read Today's target and the Big idea, see what's Due today, and follow the day's Steps: a debate, background, a lab, or analysis.
Go into myPLTW through Clever and do the day's activity there. This is where the project work gets done. Doing it here is not the same as turning it in.
Complete the day's artifact: an exit ticket, a CER, a data table, or your tracker. Your class page tells you exactly what that is.
Turn it in on this site, or hand it to Mr. Mendoza in class. Both count. Your file is stored in the district OneDrive automatically, and your report-card grade shows up in Schoology later. You never turn it in on the class site.
Every lesson has a self-help Explainer if you're confused and a make-up plan if you missed class: so nobody falls behind.
It all adds up: each lesson's evidence and your tracker build toward your end-of-course WebXam, the Ohio end-of-course exam for this course.
Done and submitted are different. Clever is the single sign-on door to Microsoft, myPLTW and Schoology. It is how you get in, not a place work goes.
Two steps clear you for the bench: sign the safety contract with a parent or guardian, and pass the safety test. Rules, PPE, SDS, and emergency steps are all in one place.

Almost everything below is free and most people walk into their first meeting not knowing anyone. Nothing here cuts you for being new. Two of them do ask you to apply or finish onboarding first, and those cards say so.

See what to fileDrop your special project in the OneDrive folder, or hand it to Mr. Mendoza in class. Both count. Sign in with your Microsoft (district) account, not a personal one. Nothing is turned in on Schoology: that is where the report-card grade shows up later.
Name the file exactly like this, with two underscores between the name and the title:
Lastname_Firstname__Assignment Title.pdfTwo underscores between the name and the title. Do not put your student ID in the file name: your district sign-in already tells me it is you. A file named any other way is not lost. It waits in a review folder until it is sorted by hand, so it is graded later.
Your receipt. Your own upload panel says Uploaded, with a green check beside the file name. That is your receipt. Screenshot it if you want a record of your own. Do not wait for the file to appear in a list. You should not be able to see anyone else's work in there. If you can see other students' files, stop and tell Mr. Mendoza.
