Acceptable use

Use the portal for learning

• Follow classroom directions and use your own assigned code or account.
• Submit your own work and credit sources, media, and collaborators.
• Check AI-generated explanations and other automated output against class evidence and trusted sources.

Protect people and systems

• Do not post private student information, medical information, passwords, or identifying details.
• Do not harass, impersonate, threaten, or misrepresent another person.
• Do not disrupt the site, bypass access controls, probe private routes, or upload harmful material.

Content and outside tools

Course materials, school marks, student work, and third-party content remain owned by their respective creators. Linked services are also governed by their own terms and district rules.

Classroom administration

The teacher may remove inappropriate submissions, correct inaccurate content, or disable a feature when safety, privacy, or instruction requires it. School and district rules govern any consequence; the portal does not create a separate discipline system. Schoology and approved district systems remain the official record for grades and school information.
