One cell became you, and nobody told it how. The same processes that built your face can, later and out of control, build a tumor. This asks twenty questions about that idea before you study it and the same core twenty afterward, so you can see what changed in how you think.

This assessment is a reviewable candidate. It is not collecting responses. The district privacy review, the human-subjects determination, and the consent decision come first.
You can read every question below and open either form to see exactly what it looks like. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, because the server that would record it is switched off.
What it asks about
Twelve ideas, and nothing else
Every form is built from these twelve. Twelve questions are the same on every form in every course, so the pathway can be compared across four classes. The other eight ask the same ideas through your own course.
- P1Having a gene is not the same as using it.
- P2The same outcome can come from different causes.
- P3Some signals give the instruction. Others only open the door.
- P4A program held down is still there.
- P5Many different routes can end in the same place.
- P6Cells specialize by using different parts of the same instructions.
- P7Growth builds tissue, and controlled cell death shapes it.

What comes back
Four results, after the post-test
The pretest gives you a receipt and no score, on purpose: you see the same core questions again at the end, and a score now would mostly measure how well you remembered the feedback. The post-test gives you a score, the reasoning for every question, and these four results.
- Cell identity and gene use
- Signaling, timing, and tissue building
- Cancer control, invasion, and heterogeneity
- Evidence, experiments, and treatment decisions
These four are not comparable percentages side by side. They are built from different numbers of questions, so each one is reported as a count out of its own total.
Your answers
Who sees what
- Your teacher sees whether you finished. Not your score, not your answers, not which questions you missed, and not how confident you said you were.
- You see your own post-test score and the reasoning for every question.
- The research summary never carries your name or your Student ID. Results are stored under a random code that has no connection to you, and reported only as class-level or pathway-level totals.
- Your Student ID is used once, to check you are on the class list. It is never put in the web address, never saved in your browser, and never stored next to your answers.
