DNA to RNA to protein. I built the mutation plan on paper first, so the lab tomorrow is checking my work instead of guessing.
I changed one base and the amino acid did not change at all. I thought I had done it wrong. The genetic code is redundant. Some mutations are silent.
The person next to me changed one base and got a stop codon. Same size change, completely different consequence.
