Common Problems & Fixes

Stuck? Most onboarding problems have a quick, known fix.

If something goes wrong

"I made an account but nothing happened."

You probably didn't click the green Save and Submit Request. Log back in, open the rotation link, and submit. Screenshot the confirmation.

"My email was rejected as the wrong domain."

Click the grey 'propose domain' button and continue.

"I never got the SilkRoad welcome email."

Check Spam/Junk. Still nothing after a few days? Your approval may be pending. Tell your teacher.

"The email looks like spam."

It's legitimate. Sender is RedCarpetMailer@mail.silkroad.com. Don't delete it; it has your login.

"I got an 'Overdue Task' email."

Log in and act today. Three weeks of inactivity permanently ends onboarding.

"It's asking for CPR or a background check."

Skip both; not required for our group. Confirm with Mr. Mendoza if unsure.

"The nurse wouldn't see me."

You forgot the parent permission slip. No slip, no visit.

"My rotation start date looks too soon."

Start must be at least 2 weeks out. Tell your teacher; don't edit it yourself.

"The badge office was closed."

Check hours first: Main Campus M–F 7:30–4:15; Beachwood M–F 8:00–3:45.
