Submit diagnosis evidence
Tue, Oct 27, 2026 · Week 10 · Principles of Biomedical Technology (Principles of Biomedical Science)
Today's goal: Submit your transcription-translation model and mutation analysis CER to the unit tracker.
What a finished product looks like
This is a model of the work you should turn in today. Use it to check your own: match the structure and the level of detail, do not copy it. Your data and wording should be your own.
Tracker self-check for the DNA-to-protein packet:
- Transcription-translation model: uploaded. Shows both the original (AUG UGG CUC) and mutated (AUG UGU CUC) sequences labeled, so the comparison is valid. Done.
- Mutation-analysis CER: attached. Cites the UGG to UGU change as evidence and connects reduced function to a possible diagnosis. Done.
- Mutation variable: stated explicitly (second-codon DNA base changed, G to A, giving mRNA UGU). Done.
- Limitations: noted that the model cannot show 3D folding. Done.
- Self-assessment: I can trace DNA to RNA to protein to disease (confident). Gap to flag: I want to recheck that I labeled both sequences clearly so the change is obvious.
Status: complete and submitted on time.
Also due today: Submit all items through the class tracker link before the end of the block.
