STATIC: the frames your records name
Statik Sound, a neighborhood recording studio. Case JH-26-0831-A. Period 1-2. Today's lesson: Maybe Is a Result.
Why this folder opened today
Today the record adds two more stains from the same scene that were screened alongside the two you already logged. The plates released today let you see all four stains together and ask what a photograph alone can separate.
Released today: 2 plates, plus the measured scene sketch. Every plate carries its own frame number, the item it covers, and both reference distances exactly as your record gives them.
Read this before you use a plate
These plates are drawings, made from the written case record. Not one of them is a photograph. That matters for the exact reason your reading gives: a photo reference is a pointer to a frame, and a frame is not an identification. A plate shows you where an item was and what the record says about it. It cannot tell you what a stain is.
Where the record does not supply something, the plate leaves it missing on purpose. A dashed boundary with EXTENT NOT RECORDED means the record never gave that area a size, so there is nothing on that plate to measure. Copy the status, not a guess.
The plates
Carried forward from D06
Your record today screens four stains together. Two of them you already logged on Monday. Their frames are repeated here so this folder holds everything today needs, on screen and on paper. They are the same frames, released on 2026-09-14, not new ones.
