## Summary

This index consolidates **473 unique research articles** drawn from two streams: every article our five domain dossiers already cited, plus the most highly cited papers in each field discovered through OpenAlex citation-ranked searches. Articles are ordered from most cited to least. Citation counts span roughly **1 to 93,968**. **140 articles have full text downloaded** to the relevant domain's sources folder; the rest are recorded here with complete metadata (authors, year, journal, DOI, PMID) so they can be retrieved manually. **30 articles are cited across more than one domain**, shown by multiple domain tags.

The highest-cited entries are dominated by foundational reporting-methodology papers (PRISMA, STROBE, CONSORT) that anchor the Experimental Design domain, followed by landmark clinical and genetic works: the 22q11.2 deletion syndrome primer, Mossey's Lancet CL/P review, Dixon's Nature Reviews Genetics review, Kondo's IRF6 discovery, and Chai's cranial neural crest lineage study.
