GENETICS OF DISEASE | EAR AND HEARING STUDENT RESOURCES
Optional reference for existing lessons. No extra assignment or submission. Follow the current Schoology lesson for required work and deadlines.

Start with the illustrated guide. The pocket card is a concise reference. The cases are optional new constructed teaching data, not clinical records. The TSV has 16 tab-separated question/answer rows with no header for import. The two script files contain a readable two-host script; there is no audio recording. Follow your existing lesson for required work.

Use models, images and supplied audiograms. Do not insert anything into a classmate's ear, irrigate an ear, create deliberately loud exposure or diagnose a classmate. Any teacher-approved partner activity is voluntary and uses comfortable sound levels.

Older course resources may use 20 or 25 dB HL as a normal-limit convention. This reference and its constructed practice cases use the explicitly named ASHA/Clark bands. For assigned work, use the classification chart supplied by that lesson if it differs; never mix cutoffs. This reference does not change the paper quiz or its grading.

SOURCES AND ART
Sources are numbered and linked in the guide and script. The anatomy plate is an original AI-generated colored-pencil teaching illustration, checked as a simplified macro-anatomy cutaway. It is not a clinical image. Scientific audiograms are plotted from the explicitly constructed numerical inputs.
